SMITH x OYUKI METHOD HELMET MSRP $140 // SMITH x OYUKI SQUAD MAG GOGGLES MSRP $240
For Winter 2023, SMITH and Japanese snow brand, Oyuki, team up on a design collaboration celebrating these experiences, notably in the epic Niseko area on the northern island of Hoikkaido. Illustrated by artist Mike Shankster and gracing the new Method helmet and Squad MAG goggles, the collab features a full graphic interpretation of the mythical Japanese Yōkai, translated into ‘strange apparition’, a class of supernatural entities and spirits popular in Japanese folklore. Centered around the shared brand ethos of experience and combining Oyuki’s premium materials with SMITH’s best in class technologies, the collab showcases and celebrates winters in the Land of the Rising Sun when the area is literally buried by snow for much of winter, slowing life and stirring up endless opportunity for adventure.

IMPRINT 3D TECHNOLOGY EXPANSION
Imprint 3D Technology expands this season with the addition of the Squad and Squad XL winter frame offerings. Elevating the on-snow experience for all riders, the Imprint 3D Collection addresses the vast range of unique face shapes and features, eliminates the one-size fits all approach to gear, and offers multiple style and budget options. With the introduction of these two models into the Imprint 3D Collection, for the first time both the curve of the lens and fit of the frame can be individualized according to the contour of a rider’s face. The result is an improved riding experience with increased all-day comfort and an expanded field of view without altering the frame design language or lens profile.

BLAZER GOGGLES // MSRP $90
The slim, modern frame of the Blazer Goggle features a cylindrical Carbonic-x len for clarity and impact resistance with built-in Airflow technology for active ventilation, plus Fog-X inner lens for fog-free performance. The Blazer offers a medium fit and is available in Low Bridge Fit to accommodate a wider variety of faces, including a wide or high cheekbone shape. Additional features include the Responsive Fit™ frame that automatically adjusts to the face for a precise, comfortable fit and two-layer DriWix face foam that wicks moisture and perspiration to further minimize fogging. A dual-slide strap offers easy size adjustment, and also designed for OTG (over the glasses) fit.
